- flour: 100 gr.
- sugar: 200 gr.
- apples: 3
- eggs: 5
- sunflower oil: 3 tablespoons
- yeast for sweet: 1 packet
- limoncello
- icing sugar
Peel the apples and cut one in small pieces. Put it in a bowl and moisten with the limoncello, or lemon or orange juice.
Cut the other two apples into thin slices. Prepare the dough beating the eggs until they become foamy. Add the sugar and then the flour, mixing all well and quickly. United yeast and oil at last.
Arrange a layer of sliced apples in a buttered and floured cake tin. Add half of the dough over the apple layer. Then sprinkle the pieces of apple previously soaked with lemon on the mixture and pour the remaining batter.
Finally arrange the remaining sliced apples over the dough and bake at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Serve cold with a dusting of icing sugar to taste.
