- potatoes: 500 gr.
- flour: 500 gr.
- whole eggs: 4
- beer yeast powder: 2 dices
- salt
- sugar to taste
Boil the potatoes, peel while hot and mash them. Add them to the flour, add eggs, a little bit of salt and baking powder, previously dissolved in very warm water, and knead. The dough has to be worked very well until it is blended. Form little sticks and cut every 20 cm as to create a ring. Let rise for about an hour covering them. When the rings are well-leavened, doubling their size, fry in hot vegetable oil in a saucepan very high, so that they float in oil. After leaving them on a paper towel particular pass in the sugar.
Serve.
